For 10 months of the year, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Renosterveld is drab and dull.

But when spring arrives – that’s when Renosterveld truly shows her beautiful face. Every colour, pattern and shape emerges, and the landscape comes to life.

It’s also the busiest time of the year for our Overberg Renosterveld Conservation Trust team. We head out onto Renosterveld patches across the Overberg, working with our willing landowners, to seek out their treasures.

And this year was no different. From the Botriver area, through to our Renosterveld reserve, Haarwegskloof, we found some of the most spectacular and special species.
