How you can #RideForRenosterveld

How you can #RideForRenosterveld

You may not see Renosterveld during the Cape Town Cycle Tour. But you can still ride for Renosterveld – and help to protect this critically endangered habitat.

The Cape Town Cycle Tour takes place on Sunday 11 March 2018. And this year, 15 riders can officially support the Overberg Renosterveld Conservation Trust at the race.

There are a number of reasons to cycle for a charity – aside from supporting a great cause. Cyclists who represent a charity at the Cycle Tour are guaranteed entry into the race, with a later closing date for entries. And you’ll receive an ORCT branded cycling shirt – to show your support during the race.

Charity entries cost R2000 per cyclist – which includes the cycling shirt. The rest supports Renosterveld conservation and covers your entry fee.

If you want to #RideForRenosterveld, chat to your friends, and enter as a group (we’ll give first option to group entries). But individual cyclists are still welcome to apply.
