Become a Friend
Friends of the ORCT are there to provide a support-base to the fundraising and operational initiatives of the ORCT. They are there to assist with drawing in extra funding, through their own corporate or personal networks, through, for example, drawing new members and donors by hosting donor dinners. They may also contribute by providing expertise, skills and resources to assist the ORCT with its mission. By way of example, a Friend may have access to certain services, such as printing, designing, legal expertise, writing, marketing, translating, management expertise, etc. and thus makes a contribution towards the ORCT by providing these services. The Friends can also make financial contributions to the ORCT, but this is not a prerequisite. Unless they wish to remain anonymous, these Friends are acknowledged on the ORCT’s website. They also receive a copy of the ORCT’s annual report.

“I have the great fortune of being involved in wonderful conservation projects in the United States and all around the world, but I consider the work of OCLT to be the most important – OCLT’s work to conserve a highly diverse and endangered ecosystem that is globally outstanding and a unique World Heritage Site is truly amazing – but equally amazing is how they involve local communities and farmers to pitch in and work together hand in hand to make magic happen.” David Houghton
